"How can I be saved?"
The Gospel is much simpler than we make it.
The Gospel is much simpler than we make it. There are some people who say you have to jump through many hoops in order to be saved. But Scripture is clear: It's the recognition that you are a sinner, that you cannot save yourself, and that the consequence of your sin is hell for all eternity. But then you must also realize that Jesus came from heaven, lived a perfect life, died a criminal's death, and rose again in order that anyone who would come to Him would ride on His coattail to heaven.
So salvation is very simple. It begins with coming before God and saying, "Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner and I cannot save myself. Only You can save me because You, Lord Jesus, died on that cross for me. Come into my life." The moment you do this, the Bible says that the Holy Spirit will come into your life, and He will help you grow in Christ. He's going to convict you, encourage you, and give you peace.
