DECEMBER GIFT CHALLENGE

QUESTION:

“I’ve always felt that being a Christian should be risky and radically different. But every day I’m still myself, working the same job. What’s next?”

Leading The Way

"Even if your faith is as small as the smallest seed on the face of the earth, God is going to honor that and help it grow."

ANSWER:

The first thing I want to tell you is this: Don’t trust your feelings; they go up and down depending on your circumstances. But faith remains; in fact, it grows. Even if your faith is as small as the smallest seed on the face of the earth, God is going to honor that and help it grow. So cultivate faith, and don’t worry about your feelings because eventually they will change.

I encourage you to pray, “Lord, I want to live the transformed life. Your Holy Spirit is given to me not so I sit on my blessed assurance, but that I may be exercising faith on a daily basis.”

Take risks. Do something for God that threatens your comfort zone. Jesus said that you cannot take any risk for Him that He won’t reward. So take a risk of faith and watch how God is going to work in your life and grow you for Himself.
