Christ Our Hope: Amman, Jordan

Where can true hope be found?

Young people search for meaning in a world filled with uncertainty. They’ve watched promises of peace come and go, searching for “an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” (Hebrews 6:19).

On September 4th, Dr. Michael A. Youssef will stand in Amman, Jordan, to proclaim the answer to that question: in Jesus Christ alone.

For 30 years, Dr. Youssef’s Bible teaching has reached millions of homes across the Middle East. As he returns to the region where God first shaped his life, he returns with a deep love for the people and a burden for them know the Truth of Christ.

A Rare Opportunity in a Turbulent Region

In recent months, the ripple effects of the Iran-Israel conflict have reached Jordan, with attacks forcing people to confront the reality that instability beyond its borders can quickly become its own.

  • But God is at work—and through Leading The Way’s Christ Our Hope event, He is opening a door.

Approximately 1,000-1,500 people are expected to gather in Amman, Jordan, where Dr. Youssef will proclaim the Gospel and call people to respond to the saving grace of Jesus. Before the gathering, Dr. Youssef and his personal friend O. S. Hawkins, Chancellor of Southwestern Seminary, will equip local pastors to disciple new believers for a lifetime of growth in Christ. This partnership with local churches is key to long-term flourishing and spiritual fruit.

A Rare Opportunity in a Turbulent Region

God is opening hearts to the Gospel across the Middle East. These recent testimonies from Leading The Way’s 24/7 KINGDOM SAT channel reveal a deep hunger for Truth in Jordan—and remind us that no barrier is too great for the Gospel, and no heart is beyond Christ’s reach.

After my mother dreamed of Jesus Christ, our family began studying the Christian faith. My mother, sister, and I have all surrendered our lives to Jesus. He is our Lord and Savior.

After studying the Bible and seeing the way Christians love . . . I decided to follow Jesus, the person who fascinated me with His sinless life. Can you help me get baptized?

After dreaming of Jesus, I decided to search for the Truth. Every lie about God was dismantled before my eyes. I was blind, but now I see the Truth. I have surrendered my life to Christ.

Stand with Us in Prayer

  • As we prepare for this Gospel outreach, the promise of Acts 4:12 compels us:

  • “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

  • There is no other name. No other Savior. No other hope.

  • Please pray with us for:

    • The Holy Spirit to empower Dr. Youssef as he faithfully proclaims the Gospel
    • Hearts to be convicted of sin and drawn to faith in Jesus Christ
    • Local churches as they disciple those who respond to the message
    • Protection for Dr. Youssef, ministry teams, partner churches, and attendees
    • Wisdom as teams navigate logistical, technological, and regional challenges
    • Jesus Christ to be exalted, honored, and glorified in every moment
  • Thank you for standing with us in prayer and partnership as we step through this open door to proclaim Christ in the Middle East. Amid uncertainty and turmoil, God is faithfully drawing people to Himself and advancing His Kingdom.
