Save for Later

In Counting Stars in an Empty Sky, Dr. Michael Youssef guides you through the faith-filled journey of Abraham—a man called to trust God when the promises seemed distant and the path was dark. Across this 10-part series, Dr. Youssef reveals how true faith clings to God’s Word, even when the visible evidence is gone. Through powerful teaching rooted in Genesis and pointing to Christ, each episode highlights God’s covenant faithfulness, the necessity of obedience, and the urgency of trusting God’s plan over our own. From the silence of waiting to the surrender of all, this series will challenge you to trust the God who sees, who provides, and who never fails to fulfill His promises.

Counting Stars Will Be Put To The Test

In this final message, Dr. Michael Youssef leads us to the mountain of ultimate testing—where Abraham is commanded to offer his beloved son, Isaac. From Genesis 22, we see not only Abraham’s unshakable obedience, but a prophetic picture of God’s own sacrifice: His Son, Jesus Christ, the true Lamb. This is the Ph.D. level of faith—a faith that does not waver, even when God’s commands seem to contradict His promises. Abraham’s obedience was prompt, willing, settled, and rewarded. And like Isaac, we too must be willing to lay down all. This episode calls believers to surrender every idol, trust God fully, and never lose sight of the cross—where God saw to it, and the Lamb was provided.
