Illawarra, Australia: Hope for the Illawarra

In March 2025, Dr. Michael Youssef will be returning to a place of deep personal significance: Australia, the country where the Lord established his family and ministry. The last time Dr. Youssef preached an evangelistic event in Australia back in 2022, an astonishing 1 in 6 attendees made decisions for Christ—and there wasn’t enough room at the altar to accommodate all those who responded to the Gospel message! We are praying for another powerful movement of God when Dr. Youssef returns to preach at the WIN Entertainment Centre on March 29, 2025. The evening before, Leading The Way is partnering with local churches to hold a Celebration for youth, who have responded overwhelmingly at the ministry’s previous Celebrations. Please join us in prayer as we reach the spiritually hungry Illawarra region for Christ.

Planting Seeds of Revival

Partnering with the Local Church for City-Wide Transformation

Leading The Way’s  Evangelistic Celebrations are an intensive ministry that require months of prayer, strategic planning, and partnership.

  • MOBILIZATION: Following an invitation from the local community, Leading The Way  trains churches to reach their local communities.
  • PROCLAMATION: At the Celebration, thousands gather to hear an evangelistic message from Dr. Michael Youssef, concluding with an invitation to salvation. Those who respond receive personal ministry from the prayer team.
  • FOLLOW-UP: Those who come to faith are connected with local churches for ongoing discipleship, strengthening churches and ensuring long-term spiritual growth for believers.

Since the launch of Evangelistic Celebrations, Leading The Way has hosted six Celebrations across three continents. As a result, approximately 50,000 people have heard the Gospel and 10,000 people have made decisions for Christ. That’s 1 in 5 attendees!
