I receive the MY Journal every month. I’m an inmate in Pennsylvania, and I’ve come to the Lord since being incarcerated. Prior to my faith in Jesus Christ, I was a Muslim. I held a prominent position in my Muslim community and was looked to for advice concerning the ‘deen’ (the Muslim religious lifestyle).
"It has now been 6 years since I left Islam to follow the true Prince of Peace."
Pastor Youssef, had it not been for a few brave souls and the help of the Holy Spirit, I would still be captive to falsehood. It has now been 6 years since I left Islam to follow the true Prince of Peace. But my heart burns for the freeing of all those who are still in chains to the lies of Islam. I want so badly to bring the Truth of Jesus Christ and the power of His resurrection to every Muslim I encounter—no matter the persecution I must endure.
There are many, many followers of Islam inside the penitentiary. My goal is to evangelize as many as I can with the time I have remaining!
