With the bold mission of seeing God transform entire cities for His glory, Evangelistic Celebrations with Dr. Michael Youssef are bringing in the harvest as God opens hearts to receive His Gospel. Every large-scale event is bathed in prayer as local churches first invite Dr. Youssef to come and proclaim the hope of Christ in their city and then commit to prepare and train for the tremendous evangelism and discipleship opportunity that every Celebration inevitably sparks.
Evangelistic Celebrations with Dr. Michael Youssef are bringing in the harvest as God opens hearts to receive His Gospel.
Time and again God has shown us that He is at work in unexpected ways through this ministry effort as people are drawn to the grace of Christ at these Celebrations—and not just attendees. Recently, during our “Come and See” Evangelistic Celebration in Veracruz, Mexico, a police officer on duty at the Beto Ávila Baseball Stadium was moved to tears by the Good News and prayed to receive Christ as Lord. Another soul who lives right across the street from the stadium listened to the passionate proclamation of the Truth of Christ from his balcony—and there surrendered his life to Jesus. Drawing over 16,000 people to hear a message of hope, this Evangelistic Celebration saw over 1,400 people respond to the invitation to put their faith in Jesus. And even now, church partners are continuing to disciple these new believers as they are plugged into the local church to grow in faith and learn to live for Christ.
Teresa, who attended “Come and See,” shared with us: “I thank God for His servant Dr. Michael Youssef! I could see his love for all souls and the love of all those who worked to see our desire fulfilled—that God would save Veracruz.”
In late June, Dr. Michael Youssef returned to the least churched region of America for the Rise Up New England Evangelistic Celebration, strategically positioned where roughly 40 percent of the population consider themselves non-religious. For months, local churches had been praying and preparing to minister to thirsty souls during and following the event, and today we are rejoicing over the many precious souls redeemed into the family of God.
Rejoice with us over these new brothers and sisters in Christ! And join us in praying for their spiritual growth and for more opportunities to passionately proclaim the uncompromising Truth across the world.
