Save for Later

In this urgent and uncompromising three-part interview, Dr. Michael Youssef joins Jane Robelot to present a bold, Biblical worldview of government rooted in the inerrancy of Scripture and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. With clarity and conviction, Dr. Youssef addresses the believer’s responsibility to honor authority, engage faithfully in civic life, and yet remain unwavering in allegiance to Christ above all. This series confronts the dangers of moral compromise, calls the Church to repentance from political idolatry, and urges believers to stand firm in Truth. Above all, it is a summons to intercede—for leaders, for families, and for the salvation of the nation—declaring that only the Gospel of Jesus Christ can redeem hearts and restore a people to God.

A Biblical Worldview of Government (Part 1)

Render to God and Caesar

In this opening discussion, Dr. Michael Youssef declares the unchanging authority of God’s Word over every human government. Scripture commands believers to honor lawful authority while never compromising obedience to God, for Christ alone is Lord over all. In nations where freedom exists, Christians bear a solemn responsibility to act with discernment, prayer, and conviction. Yet when earthly authority defies God’s Truth, believers must obey God rather than men, even at great cost. This message calls the Church to repentance from apathy, to intercede for leaders, and to stand firm in the Gospel of Jesus Christ—the only hope for nations and souls alike .
